With mentorship from a faculty advisor, MPS-HLS students complete a hands-on capstone project using GIS and/or remote sensing tools and techniques to demonstrate analytic skills, high-level writing competency, and the ability to identify and investigate a real-world problem from a geospatial intelligence perspective.
The capstone project consists of 3 credits total, 1 credit for GEOG 594A, and 2 credits for GEOG 594B.
The overarching purpose of both GEOG 594A and GEOG 594B is to demonstrate a student's ability to identify and investigate a real-world problem using a substantial amount of your past coursework.
