We have five terms per year. The schedule below is an example of someone who is accepted on November 1 (for a January start).
- Spring 1: January through March
- Spring 2: February through April
- Summer: May through July
- Fall 1: August through October
- Fall 2: October through December
The MGIS Degree is 35 credits. The typical student course load is expected to be three to five courses per year. At the rate of four three-credit courses in one year, most students will complete the Certificate Program in about one year of part-time study and will complete the MGIS Degree in about three years.
