Example Three-year Program for an MGIS Student

We have five terms per year. The schedule below is an example of someone who is accepted on November 1 (for a January start).

  • Spring 1: January through March
  • Spring 2: February through April
  • Summer: May through July
  • Fall 1: August through October
  • Fall 2: October through December

The MGIS Degree is 35 credits. The typical student course load is expected to be three to five courses per year.
